tags 289923 sid thanks This ambiguity appears to be new in wxgtk2.5, which has only just started to be used by the version of vlc in unstable, so I think the version in testing is safe.
My reading of this failure is that the API has changed between wxgtk2.4 and wxgtk2.5, and that vlc is not fully ported to the new API. The changelog from the previous upload seems to confirm this. Thanks, -- Steve Langasek postmodern programmer
