I have noticed that Celluloid frequently fails to start on my machine.
Some days the program works cleanly, other days it crashes every time

I have looked at bug #970484, but the reported errors seem completely
different from that bug.

Hi,
Several improvements have been made since this bug was opened, the
reported issues were not found in the version that is in sid/testing
(at this date) and if the issue occurs again, feel free to reopen the
bug.
