Package: libmtp-runtime
Version: 1.0.6-6
Severity: important
With upgrading libmtp8 from 1.0.6-2 to 1.0.6-6 also libmtp-runtime 1.0.6-6 was
installed on my wheezy-system.
It now showed up that this package results in a failure accessing my scanner
through a virtualbox guest which worked flawlessly before the upgrade.
When plugging in the scanner syslog records:

9

When starting the virtualbox guest it complains:
Failed to create a proxy device for the USB device. (Error: VERR_READ_ERROR)
Error Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)
Deinstalling libmtp-runtime solves the actual problem but now udevd is
complaining:

I was able to reproduce it using virtualbox 4.0.8 and 4.0.6 from the oracle
repository.
