Package: libsane
Version: 1.0.22-6
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

the Scanner Canon Lide 50 is somewhat recognized by sane-find-scanner, but not
via scanimage -l nor xsane nor simple-scan. The user is in the scanner group;
starting scanimage -l or sane-find-scanner as root does not make any
difference.

dmesg output:
[ 6037.948167] usb 4-1.2: new high speed USB device number 5 using ehci_hcd

The relevant entries in
   /etc/sane.d/genesys.conf and
   /lib/udev/rules.d/60-libsane.rules and
   /etc/sane.d/dll.conf
seem to be correct.

Thanks in advance for your support,
tombreit

 libmtp (1.1.1-1) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * New upstream bugfix release:
     - Insert more carefulness into the udev script so
       we avoid probing any color adjustment devices.
       These don't even like it when we open them to
       check their props.
     - udev rule prio for probe command set to come after
       most other devices including SANE, so now we use
       level 69 (Closes: #647234).
     - A horde of new devices in the database.
   * Remove debian/patches/0001-new_devices.patch.
   * Remove debian/patches/2001-new_devices_from_upstream_git.patch
   * Update debian/patches/1001-kfreebsd_hurd_ftbfs.patch
