This is the installation image UEFI boot menu, powered by GRUB.
Obviously the menu is using a graphics mode already, and apparently that mode
cannot be set on my
laptop.
The installation image UEFI boot menu sets 800x600 graphic mode.
Does the same happen when booting the installed system (with GRUB
setting the default graphic resolution) ?
