Time marches on. I can't see most users who are adopting Linux as a stable alternative to Windows variants, with nice stuff like StarOffice available, switching to Plan 9 just because of some features involving distributed machines...which most of them don't have and don't care about. Even for those with multiple machines, traditional networking works fine for most folks. But if Plan 9 keeps Choate busy, I'm all for it.
