You're speaking of 'The Communist League' and assorted ilk? hardly what I
would call formal or well organized considering they were a secret
organization because they were considered a threat to national interest.
The League called a meeting in London in 1847 to draw up a theoretical and
practical description of their goals. They apparently weren't satisfied
with the documentation they had.
It wasn't until Engles and Marx wrote the "The Communist Manifestor" as a
consequence that 'communism' became anything remotely 'formal' (whatever
that means).
"The Communist Manifesto" after all was first printed in London - Feb.
1848. I believe the first translation was printed in or about 1872. It
wasn't until those translations in the very late 1800's that it enjoyed
any sort of exposure or popularity.
As I said, it wasn't until the late-1800's that it really had any sort of
organization to speak of.

Really? Where did I say YOU were a revisionist? I expressed a generic view
of historical revisionist in general. If the shoe fits wear it. I do admit
it was meant to flush the bushes.

Correct, my typo.
The point being that the reason that Romania and these other countries
enjoyed their short-lived prosperity was at the expence of the Germans.
