BTW I'm also interested in having IPv6 support in CygWin and would like to help towards it (moreover I already signed the paper to send patches), but time is scarce... anyway I guess the longest problem would be to think a way not to interfere with normal Win98 and Win2000 CygWin support when IPv6 is not available. (author of the patch says that there *are* problems, still)
We could maybe really release it as a "dev" package (overwriting the DLL from package cygwin) so that people could help test it on different Window versions.
Eventually we should move on cygwin-apps to talk about actual implementation and/or way to do things, I guess.
