Hi,
I am using Cygwin (CYGWIN_NT-5.2-WOW64 1.7.11(0.260/5/3) 2012-02-24 14:05 i686
Cygwin) on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 X64 Service Pack 2 .
When I invoke C:/cygwin/bin/sh.exe from the command prompt it fails
intermittently with the following error.
$ C:/cygwin/bin/sh.exe -c 'date'

What are the possible causes for this error. Would reinstalling cygwin help ?
thanks,
Prakash

it could be a BLODA or a rebase issue.
Have you the same problem from Mintty instead of MS command prompt ?
