Both commands you've quoted above work for me (Win2k). Please provide the
following:
1) output of "which ls"
2) output of "ls --version"
3) output of "ls -lsF --full-time" in the directory
4) output of "ls -lsF" in the directory
5) output of "cygcheck -s -v -r" (as an attachment)
