For what exactly? The only messages I have seen about it are those who installed 'gcc' thinking it was the current version only to realize they needed 'gcc4'. No recent distro still supported 3.4, -mno-cygwin has been completely replaced by mingw64-*-gcc, and any software included in distributions that doesn't compile OOTB with 4.x will have patches available from those distros. I think it's past time to scrap 3.4. Yaakov
