I'm sure I'll probably get flamed six ways from Sunday, but you could take a
look at Silverlight / Moonlight.   I hear there are some pretty impressive
3d capabilities possible with it.

Although the problem is that it's not widely used yet, and may never take
off, but there's a good chance it'll be around for a while simply for the
fact that Microsoft is backing it, and they can afford to eat the
development cost and still push it.

Other than that, I think your only option for Crystal Space is to use a link
to download and open up an external application.

You might want to also google wild tangent.  I believe they make 3d web
games, but I may be mistaken.
