Hi everyone!
I'm sorry to create another discussion about this subject, but i couldn't
hijack Julian's ;D Anyway, i'm highly interested in participating in GSoC
this year, with Crystal Space. I intend to implement some improvements to
Lighter2 - but i'm having some trouble writing a proposal.
The problem is - i'm highly interested in computer graphics and lighting is
very interesting - but i'm afraid i don't have a clue on how to implement it
(after the students are selected, there is one month before coding begins -
i would use that to study and learn more about the subject) and I can't
detail enough in the proposal.
Related to the project, i have a good knowledge of C++ and have a
mathematical background of vector calculus and linear algebra.
My main question is this - how can i detail more about a subject i'm not
familiar with yet? and what is expected from a good proposal ?
Thanks, André.
