Hello!

I am all new to IMAP and Courier, so please excuse if the problem described
bellow is trivial. I am yet having trouble to figure it out by myself.

My local MDA (procmail) is configured in such a way that it unpredictably (but
reasonably!) creates new folders in my INBOX maildir, which is monitored by
Courier-IMAP. Unfortunately these new folders do not show up in my mail client
(Claws-Mail) when it checks for new mail, but I have to manually "check for new
folders". Moreover the new folders do not contain a courierimapacl- or any
other courierimap*-files before I have the client check for new folders.

Is this a purely client-side problem? In that case do not bother any longer.

Or is it the IMAP server which has to be told to scan for new folders? If so,
is there a way to do this automatically, i. e. from a script? How?

Thank you for your thoughts.

Carlos Franke
