------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-08 20:23 ------- Actually, sub-pixel hinting works, but the check box does not work correctly : you can check the box, it will be unchecked after going back to config panel, but sub-pixel hinting is applied. However, there is no way to go back to non sub-pixel hinting (since the box is unchecked). On a CRT monitor, sub-pixel is no good, you have to check again horizontal RVB to have something correct. But the problem is probably a bug in KDE : the sub-pixel choice cannot be inactivated after selected the first time. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: NEW creation_date: description: Using mdk-9.1rc1. In kcontrol->fonts, enable anti-aliasing. Then enable sub-pixel hinting. Click apply and quit kcontrol. Start kcontrol again. Go to fonts and find that the option sub-pixel hinting has become unchecked !! I tried several times but kcontrol always reverts to the option unchecked.
