------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-02-13 01:19 ------- I don't think so (about rebuilding). AFAICS, libmysqlclient10 (the MySQL 3.23 one) is still there and is the one nagios-plugins-1.3b1-2mdk requires. The 3.23 lib is able to connect to 4.0 servers. Existing programs should be happy with it. Sure, it may be that some server-side functionality changed in a way, that a client does not get the result it expects. But if it segfaults about this, this is a logical program error, not a building issue. Or do I miss something? That said, I am unable to reproduce the SEGV: $ /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_mysql localhost root xxxx Uptime: 321 Threads: 1 Questions: 3 Slow queries: 0 Opens: 6 Flush tables: 1 Open tables: 0 Queries per second avg: 0.009 $ rpm -qa | grep -i mysql | sort libmysql10-3.23.55-1mdk libmysql12-4.0.10-1mdk libmysql12-devel-4.0.10-1mdk MySQL-4.0.10-1mdk MySQL-client-4.0.10-1mdk MySQL-Max-4.0.10-1mdk php-mysql-4.3.0-1mdk So it would help to have more details what might cause the SEGV for Tibor. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: I don't know, but I suspect it has to do with recent MySQL changes. If MySQL v4.x is due to 9.1 I belive many packages has to be rebuilt against it.
