I got exactly the same problem with the Xfree Cooker 4.2.99 and a ATI Radeon 7200 Qt.
I wanted to get PHP 4.3.0 to get the auto stuff of the PEAR core in this version of PHP and launch an auto-update on cooker on it, then It upgraded Xfree and did not gave out any error logs during installation and reboot.... Hope this helps ;-) Jeremy Lacroix Le jeu 30/01/2003 22:42, [Bug 1160] a crit : > https://qa.mandrakesoft.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1160 > > Product: XFree86 > Component: XFree86 > Summary: ATI All In Wonder Radeon 7500 (Radeon QW) DRI fails when > X11 starts > Version: 4.2.99.5-0.20030127.1mdk > Platform: PC > OS/Version: All > Status: UNCONFIRMED > Severity: critical > Priority: P2 > AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > > I have a brand new cooker machine installed with a ATI A-I-W Radeon 7500 (Radeon > QW), unfortunately I cannot use 3D support for the card at this time due to a severe > lock-up of the system that occurs when DRI is activated.
