for my mouse : I just had to add "ZAxisMapping 4 5"
to make my wheel mouse working...!!!! COOL!
And also modified "protocol "PS/2" " to "IMPS/2"
My mouse: Ms-Intellimouse Explorer .
Regarding non-root:

Thus, I am not yet that lazy to complain that I have to
type "imwheel" from that terminal...
Oh yes! I forgot: I have to press "ENTER" to execute it...
