I ran Lothar's "soundconfig" and it seemed to support my soundcard fine,
other than not identifying it by name (it's a SoundBlaster PCI 128, but
soundconfig identified it as an EnsoniqES1370 [AudioPCI], which is fine
since they're entirely compatible). However, it printed the following text
in my xterm:
An ISA PnP card has been found but hasn't been identified
The identifier was:PNP0060

In addition to printing this find message, IT KILLED MY NETWORK CONNECTION!
That's right, any time I run soundconfig, I must subsequently reboot in
order to reestablish my connection with the network. I assume this has
something to do with soundconfig's probing of my ISA PnP cards. I only have
one ISA card, and it's an NE2000 compatible ethernet card.
I'm enclosing a copy of my isapnp.conf file in case this information is
useful.
