In addition to all existing S3 tests, I did the following in a tarball with my
usual S3Guard config in etc/hadoop:
bin/hadoop s3guard -D fs.s3a.s3guard.ddb.table=MyNewTable -D
fs.s3a.s3guard.ddb.region=sa-east-1 init # Verified table was created in
correct region
bin/hadoop s3guard -conf /tmp/my-imaginary-directory init # Fails, and is
supposed to
I did not test or document the other generic options because I can't see how
they could relevant to something that's strictly storage layer. But if anyone
disagrees, I'll gladly test, document or otherwise support it better.
I'll add an automated tests of this too...
