Just as an update, attaching what I've been working on. This is after working
through the migration guide and linked documentation. This compiles and should
be reasonably close to how it was before. Currently TestMetricsConfig is
failing and it appears the root problem is a difference in how config files are
located: some files that used to be found automatically now can't be found.
Strategies for location files are no configurable, but even configuring it to
try every strategy, it's still failing to find files that previous tests seemed
to find just fine. Will continue looking at it...
