I'm good either way, as long as the Javadoc API is clearly documented for how
it should be used. I'm not sure it's always good to have a threaded version
(otherwise, we'll have a thread, creating a thread, creating a thread, ad
nauseum). So, I see two options:
- Create a single API that supports threaded disk checking and a separate API
that supports non-threaded, direct call disk checking.
- Create a single API that supports both.
