Review Comment:
   Following up from here: 
https://github.com/apache/pinot/pull/14385#discussion_r1966264001
   Currently, we assume that the form of the time predicate filter is 
`dateTrunc(...) = X`. I think this optimization should be applied both ways, 
but I think it makes more sense to open a separate PR for that update.
