Hi Albert.
Found the "syntax error" in the calligra part we releases now, the rest
is in kexi.
It seems either xgettext chokes on a long context or (more likely)
calligra_xgettext.sh chokes on the msg xgettext produces. Shorting the
msg by 1 character did the trick.
But: it seems calligra_xgettext.sh adds (qtundo-format) to (almost?) all
messages, effectively doubling the amount of messages wether they are
undo/redo msg or not!
No way to tell which are phony though :(
Seems Alexander Potashev was the one writing this, but if he doesn't
respond I am probably the one that have to try to fix it. As it looks
now, releasing next weekend seems unlikely. I'll be back with news
later.
Cheers

Hi,
There is at the moment a bit of a screwup with the "special" way of
extracting
i18n messages in calligra, see all those "syntax error" in
https://logs.l10n.kde.org/161125.trunk_l10n-kf5
I mailed Dmitry Kazakov and Alexander Potashev about it but I haven't
had any
answer yet, do you know of someone else that would have time to have a
look?
Cheers,
Albert
we plan to release (parts of) calligra 4. December.
The following modules will *not* be released:
Gemini, Stage, Flow and Braindump
so no need to translate those.
As this is mainly a port to Qt5/KF5 afaik there are only a few string
changes.
(Note that this does not include krita and kexi, they are release
separatly)
Cheers,
Dag
