Thinking of this, while porting parts of calligra, please think what modules would you see as Tier 1. [1] For now just think. Maybe Filters and some ODF manipulation? kfilter, kodf, anyone? If you're interested in strengthening calligralibs, widening the audience... It does not have to be API stable from day one and too featureful.
