'workspace' works for me. being a eclipse user myself, I don't think it will cause sufficient confusion to avoid it. I think its clear: a place where you put code projects. I think this is related to what I was talking about in my bookmarks-idea-mail recently, but it should be able to have multiple workspaces. It should also only only show branches and repositories in this tree-view, so you can open them like bookmarks.
