hi all, I normally organise my web bookmarks into folders, so I was going to suggest something similar to that for bzr-explorer (is that BE for short? :)
But thinking about it for 30 seconds I realised I don't want to go and bookmarks every single branch on every single project I work with, and organise them into folder. Then I realised my stuph is already pretty well organised in real folders. I think it would be really cool if I can specify my local prefered projects directory(s) and then have a tree-view with them as roots and where only child repositories and branches are the nodes. clicking on it opens it like the bookmarks does. We probably wont want to rescan for branches every time you open this view, so maybe we scan it the first time and on request (have a refresh button or F5 action). This idea was inspired by the way DigiKam (photo manager) allows you to specify albums, which it scans on startup. -- <| regards U| Marius H| <>< Z| http://amanica.blogspot.com/ <| E| http://bazaar-vcs.org/ <| because I don't trust version control systems with less than 20135 unit tests _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~bzr-explorer-dev Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~bzr-explorer-dev More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
