I've never reported a bug before and I am only an intermiediate GNU user,
but here goes. Hopefully I won't offend anyone..
I am using GNUMake v3.75 with DJGPP V2.03. About every 2 or 3 makes of the
program, make appears to crash with the following window:
ntvdm.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x0f048d8a" referenced memory at "0x01340ffc". The
memory could not be "written".
When it does crash, I just do a make clean and rerun and sometimes it works.
Additional note, the make 3.75 from Cygnus doesn't appear to crash (at least
is hasn't yet).
System:
GCC V2.95.2
GPP V2.95.2
GXX V2.95.2
make V3.75 (it also fails with 3.79)
OS:
Win2K Pro - 5.00.2195 (Service Pack 1)
256M RAM
Is there a work-around for this? Or Should I not be using it under Win2k.
Thanks
JB
