Hi Paul, Is it possible that you create an alpha branch on the CVS so that people can check the code before it is committed as a stable release? I've looked at the latest changelog, but it looks like those are just bug fixes so nothing in the direction that you mention. I guess you didn't commit them because an incomplete read.c would obviously break the stable version? :) So what about speeding things up a bit and putting it in a devel branch.
