gcc version 2.8.1

Hi,

I'm using GCC version 2.8.1 on an HP-UX 10.20 workstation and 
I'm currently installing MICO 2.3.1 ( a CORBA orb product) on it.

While it is compiling, it gives an error message " virtual memory 
exhausted" and exits. Even I tried to increase the available virtual 
memory it exits with the same error.

Please suggest me a way of fixing this prob. as I'm desperate in 
this venture.
