Hi,

While I was reading the document about chrdev I was quite confused. On this website <https://darnassus.sceen.net/~hurd-web/hurd/documentation/translators/>, it says "all device files are provided by translators". In the Hurd, I get `/hurd/chrdev 0 36` when I run `showtrans /dev/cons/mouse`. However, on the other website <https://darnassus.sceen.net/~hurd-web/hurd/translator/short-circuiting/>, it says "In fact, chrdev and blkdev aren't even implemented as translators at all". Is this a contradiction?

The other question I have is why I can't find `/hurd/chrdev` in the Hurd. I try to understand the meaning of 0 and 36 in `/hurd/chrdev 0 36` but I cannot find the executable or the source code in the git tree.

I also cannot find the source code of `/hurd/netdde` in the git tree.
