Reposting from web-hurd, because no one seems to check that list. Hello,
I found that there are two domains the Hurd's website is hosed on, where the first, official (https://www.gnu.org/software/hurd/) seems abandoned - the last news are from 2016 year and the second which was updated recently, but is hosted somewhere else (darnassus.sceen.net/~hurd-web/). I think the web page hosted at gnu.org should be updated as well, because keeping the official web page outdated hurts the project. Why aren't those web pages merged? Also the website looks old, which can scare off potential developers and contributors. Did you consider updating the website? What about forking Guix's website (or any other better looking website)? I can help if the task won't be massive - I have some experience with html5, css3 and JS, I've done some small projects like webGL games, simple websites. Jan Wielkiewicz
