These libraries are basic GNU/Hurd libraries. You will have them installed anyway.
And you will still have to install libFOO to be able to use whatever one wants to use, so the point is moot. In what package the library is avaiable in is quite irrelevant. libbonobo, on the other hand, is something GNOME-specific. I repeat: ,---- | If libbonobo provides features that can be used by a non-GNOME | program, then this isn't true. But I don't know exactly what | libbonobo does so... `---- libbonobo depends on some basic GNOME libraries. And the statement still is true if non-GNOME programs can use libbonobo. There is no difference between libbonobo depending on some basic GNOME libraries, and a Hurd library depending on Hurd libraries.
