Actually it was James' idea, I just said that he's a genious to come up with it. ;-) Especially given that work on different journaling file systems (if it happens at the same time) should be coordinated and nobody is allowed to help with the diploma thesis, I think making Shadowfs work is a much better idea in this case. And there are certainly more reasons for working on Shadowfs.
