I really don't have sources or a build on hand to look at at all these days. But I suspect that it will dtrt for glibc-2.1 compatibility if we make aliases with the GLIBC_2.0 version tag in libthreads.so for the symbols from libc. I'm not sure off hand if we can do this in the version script or if we need to add .symver wierdness when building libthreads.
