Hi folks,
Here's the revised version of os-faq. Jeff, congrats on the new
site. It's going to be of great help to everyone involved with the
hurd. I included a link to hurddocs.sourceforge.net . Will this link be
viable for the future? I reckon it doesn't have to sound pretty(the
link) but it should be functional.

Jim

The GNU Hurd is a dynamic operating system being written by a group of core developers lead by Thomas Bushnell, BSG.  The Hurd itself is a system of servers using translators for the user/server interface that run on top of the GNU Mach microkernel to manage such things as file systems, network protocols, file access, and other features.  A satellite development group is in the process of porting libraries and applications as well as finding bugs in preparation for the Debian GNU/Hurd distribution.  A page for recent development status and several mailing lists; help-hurd, debian-hurd and bug-hurd with their associated archives at gnu.org and debian.org  for development communications.  Several unofficial web sites for the Hurd can be found at: http://hurddocs.sourceforge.net/ , http://www.crosswinds.net/~gnuhurd/ and http://hurd.sourceforge.net/ .
