I just updated gnuradio. I see the latest source tarball is in http://www.gnuradio.org/releases/gnuradio/ but http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gnuradio hasn't been updated in two years. Is it intentional? Or institutional systematic error? Who controls what gets in ftp.gnu.org? Shouldn't the two directories be synchronized? Maybe someone reading this knows.
