I also tried it out with the three groff versions which I still found in my
package cache. Package version 1.22.4-10 does *not* have the bug:
pacman -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/groff-1.22.4-10-x86_64.pkg.t
ar.zst # does NOT have the bug
pacman -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/groff-1.23.0-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst # HAS the
bug
pacman -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/groff-1.23.0-2-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst # HAS the
bug
