It should be better for OpenBSD 6.2+ when doing cross-builds, because it guesses that the bug is fixed there.
It shouldn't affect OpenBSD 6.1- or 6.2+ when doing native builds, or OpenBSD 6.1- when doing cross-builds.
And is it a clang bug or gcc bug?
I didn't investigate that. I thought it was a libc bug and therefore independent of compiler.
