I made the same mistake on my first reading - there is a subtle difference between .txt and .texi. And I use both COPYINGv3 (based on .txt upstream) and gpl-3.0.texi (based on .texi upstream) while building m4. Rather than deleting files, I think my patch of adding sync listings for the *.texi is the way to go. -- Eric Blake
