Hi Niki,
Ian's explanation was all that I needed.
Please try out the uploaded patch. It appears to work for the libC.so.5 file
you supplied, at least as far as the informational binutils programs go (size,
objdump, readelf etc). I have not tried actually linking with one or more of
these files, so maybe you would like to try that yourself.
