I believe I isolated the change that causes the problem. It seems to have been
made less than two days ago. Since I hadn't looked at binutils cvs in so long,
I'm astounded that it turned out to be so recent a change. Anyway, when I
update my tree like this:
$ cvs update -A; cvs update -D20050607 bfd/opncls.c bfd/bfd-in2.h
it works. I think the problem may be due to this change:
2005-06-07 Mark Mitchell <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
* opncls.c (bfd_fopen): New API.
(bfd_openr): Use it.
(bfd_fdopenr): Likewise.
* bfd-in2.h: Regenerated.
