To be fair, that Python Enhancement Proposal (PEP 3131) was accepted around 10 years ago. It seems to have landed in the Python 3.x series. I brought it up for other reasons, specifically, to point out the complications that arise from implementing non-ASCII identifiers (to support my argument that there's a high cost in implementing this feature). -- Eduardo Bustamante https://dualbus.me/
