You need to make sure your unpacking to it's own directory, not in the
root, because of that.
All dazy files are using the same files I believe and some may be
getting over-written.
Make sure that your unpacking and it asks what folder, then type a
folder name while in the Keybook dir.
So it'll all be in it's own folder. Then Keybook will work just fine.

Hi,
I've been playing a bit more with this. Does anyone know what file the APex
uses to get the book title from? Each DAISY book comprises a number of files,
and experimentation would suggest that only one bookshare Daisy format book can
be present at any one time; though this seems crazy.
I did the following:
1. went to the "my books" folder on the flash disk;
2. deleted everything;
3. reset the device;
4. unpacked a book from the SD card called "Learning the Art of French Cooking
Volume II". This unpacked fine, and opened.
4. I then unpacked a book called "1,000 Indian Recipes" (notice a trend?) which unpacked
fine, however "Learning the art of French cooking Volume II" was the book that opened,
and the second book was not listed as being there at all.
So what I'm wondering is this. Are there files, common to all books, which are
not overwritten when a book is unpacked? Seems a trifle odd but there it is.

Hi,
I would definitely try a sout reset. Then, try unpacking the books again, and
be sure to unpack them into the My Books Folder of the Apex.
Hope this helps!
Sincerely,
Jasmine

Hi there,
NO the issue isn't with the unpacking at all. The books unpack fine, but then
don't show up as books.
Thanks

Hi,
Have you tried a soft reset, one where you just press the reset button, let go
of it, and then it will reset? Maybe then the books will unpack.

Subject: [Braillenote] bookshare books in daisy format not being recognisedby
Apex
Evening all,
I have recently acquired my new Apex, and all and all (even though it's still
running Keysoft) it's quite a nice piece of kit.
My query is this. I've downloaded several books from Bookshare to my mac,
copied them to SD card and moved them using this medium to the Apex. The
unpack process works well, but after unpacking each book, Keybook does not
recognise them (except for the first one) as books. Let me give an example to
illustrate.
Let's assume I have three books, each with a ".zip" extension and we'll call them book1,
book2 and book3. So I open Keybook, and unpack book1 which works fine. I then unpack book2, which
unpacks fine, and gives me the "loading book" message. However, it loads book1, and
book2 does not appear in the list of books. I then unpack book3, with the same results.
Interestingly, when I change the view in the file-open portion of keybook to "all
files" the various files are all where they should be.
Any thoughts appreciated,
Dónal
