Hi Dónal,

I know exactly what you are talking about in your message. When I open brf books from bookshare the same thing happens. When I get to the step that the book is going to be opened, it always wants to open another book. I keep my books in directories by author, and it always tries to open some other book in that directory. I usually just escape out of the book and then go back into the directory and find my book and open it. I guess this is some sort of bug in the book program.

Subject: [Braillenote] bookshare books in daisy format not being recognisedby Apex

Evening all,

I have recently acquired my new Apex, and all and all (even though it's still running Keysoft) it's quite a nice piece of kit.

My query is this. I've downloaded several books from Bookshare to my mac, copied them to SD card and moved them using this medium to the Apex. The unpack process works well, but after unpacking each book, Keybook does not recognise them (except for the first one) as books. Let me give an example to illustrate.

Let's assume I have three books, each with a ".zip" extension and we'll call them book1, book2 and book3. So I open Keybook, and unpack book1 which works fine. I then unpack book2, which unpacks fine, and gives me the "loading book" message. However, it loads book1, and book2 does not appear in the list of books. I then unpack book3, with the same results.

Interestingly, when I change the view in the file-open portion of keybook to "all files" the various files are all where they should be.

Any thoughts appreciated,

Dónal
