Hi folks, Now that 4.2.3 is out, we should start thinking about getting 4.3.0 out. The dev cycle has been going for a long time now, and I think there's enough new features in already to make a release. Once the protobuf stuff goes in, we should put on a feature freeze and start prepping a release.
Given that there are so many changes in 4.3.0, I think we should explicitly mark it as a beta release, and leave the 4.2 branch as the "stable" branch. I think it will take another release or two to get 4.3 to stable. Opinions? -Ivan
