ah, this reminds me.
To contribute code, you need to sign http://www.apache.org/licenses/icla.txt.
It's a hassle, but it guarantees that the project doesn't end up with legal
issues.
Alternatively, if you contribute as part of you job,
http://www.apache.org/licenses/cla-corporate.txt is the form.
