Hi, I didn't read the whole thread, I have re-enabled the screensaver on
the Debian git, and started a build on my ppa.

You will see a boinc-screensaver package on my ppa [1] shortly (some hours)

Help and feedbacks are appreciated, it was disabled a long time ago,
because of its instability (prior to my maintainership starting), I can
re-enable it if user wants it, but I need to have some testing reports.

Specially let me know if some tweaks are needed to make it work after
installation.
