Just read it. -dev seems to be coming through fine right now. For some
reason (perhaps gmail being picky) I was unsubscribed from -dev.
Gmail hates everyone at times, but some of us it hates for longer.
Bottom line that I got from your is that you think it is OK, but have not
tested a lot of the programs.

Specifically, tccat is ok. I've just tried (8.3-rc, the Ryzen) and
confirmed that. But I can't persuade transcode to do anything
useful with the vob file (possibly, missing dependencies).
I think this causes a lot of the problem. I have:
libavcodec yes
libavformat yes
libv4l2 no
libv4lconvert no
libmpeg2 yes
libmpeg2convert no
libpostproc no
freetype2 no
lame yes
xvid no
x264 no
ogg no
vorbis no
theora no
libdvdread yes
pvm3 no
libdv no
libquicktime no
lzo no
a52 no
faac no
libxml2 no
mjpegtools no
sdl no
imagemagick no
libjpeg yes
bsdav no
iconv yes
but many of the libraries are present. I did promote the comment about
using configure options to a note right before configure. that should
be good enough.
I tagged it for 8.3, but left your note about run issues.
