That ionvocation almost works, but not quite.
First, I tried what you suggested, but got a rather long error
message at almost the same place (reformatted by pasting, but
everything as far as '2>&1' was on one line):

LibreOffice(4074)/kdeui (kdelibs): Session bus not found
To circumvent this problem try the following command (with Linux and
bash)
export $(dbus-launch)
I see that I was already using 'startxfce4 dbus-launch
--with-ck-launch' when I previously built LO after kde on this box,
and I had probably invoked ck-launch-session on the slow machine
where I first hit this problem. So, my initial clarification to
Fernando turns out to be inadequate.
Anyway, I gave it another go from kdm, and got
build LNK] CppunitTest/libtest_sd_export_tests.so

An uncaught exception of type com.sun.star.uno.RuntimeException
- PresenterCanvas: invalid number of arguments
which is approximately at the same place, but not necessarily for
the same reason.
I then dropped that 'export $(dbus-launch)' into my .xinitrc and it
built ok.
